General improvements and UI
New Design & Speed:
The entire user interface (especially POS and Mobile) has received a boost. The system feels faster, and navigation is more intuitive with "breadcrumb trails" and improved search fields.
Passkeys:
Users can now log in without a password using biometrics (fingerprint/face recognition), significantly increasing security.
Gantt view 2.0:
Expanded to more modules (Inventory, Project, Service) with support for horizontal scrolling and better resource planning.
Finance and Accounting
Intelligent Troubleshooting:
A new statistics-based system automatically alerts about "unusual" invoices (errors in amounts or dates).
Improved Bank Reconciliation:
OCR technology can now read transactions directly from PDF statements, and total payments are easier to match.
Loan Management:
Automated management of loans and repayments directly in the accounting module.
Intercompany Flexibility:
Easier to share chart of accounts and handle postings across multiple companies.
Inventory and Production
Shipping Management (Fleet/Logistics): Odoo can now plan routes for your own fleet of vehicles, allowing you to manage deliveries without external shipping companies.
RFID Support:
Support for RFID scanners for lightning-fast counting and receiving of goods.
Production Planning:
A completely new overview (MPS) that provides full transparency in bills of materials and automatic replenishment.
Valuation by Serial Number:
You can now track the exact value of each unique product (batch/serial number).
Sales and e-Commerce
Click & Collect:
Customers can now see stock status in the webshop and choose to collect their goods in a physical store.
Combination Products: Option to sell "bundles", where the customer chooses the contents themselves (e.g. a gift basket).
PDF Quote Generator: A significantly improved editor for creating beautiful, professional quotes with variable data directly from Odoo.
New POS (Point of Sale): Designed from the ground up with a focus on restaurant features (table merging, internal notes) and direct integration with AvaTax and events.
HR and Communication
Onboarding & Plans:
Activity plans have become more intelligent, making it easier to automate tasks when hiring or starting a project.
WhatsApp integration:
Now fully integrated into marketing flows and customer contact, with a complete history across the system.
360-degree Feedback:
Improved process for employee evaluations in environments with many companies.
Data and Reporting
Spreadsheet Revolution:
Lots of new features (Pivot tables, "Find and replace", comments and tags) make Odoo Spreadsheet a real alternative to Excel, fully integrated with your real-time data.
