New Design and User Experience (UX)
Complete redesign:
The entire Odoo has received a modern, visual uplift that makes it more intuitive and pleasant to look at.
Drag-and-drop Dashboard:
Users can now reorganise their app icons on the front page.
Lightning-fast Search:
Advanced search has been improved, allowing you to save complex filters and search in "property fields" (Properties).
Movable Windows:
Dialog boxes can now be moved around the screen so they do not cover the data you are working with.
PWA (Progressive Web App):
Odoo can be installed as an app on your computer or phone outside of the App Store, providing quick access and better performance.
Accounting and Finance
Bank Reconciliation 2.0:
The layout has been completely renewed, making it much faster to match bank lines with invoices.
Peppol network:
Odoo is now officially ready for Peppol, making it extremely easy to send and receive electronic invoices across borders.
Fraud protection:
Suppliers' bank accounts must now be marked as "trusted" (Trusted) before money can be transferred to them – an important security feature.
Enhanced OCR:
Digitisation of invoices is now five times faster than before.
Inventory and Logistics
Flexible reservation:
You can now manually select exactly which batches or serial numbers should be reserved for an order, or change the reservation continuously.
Barcode improvements:
You can now create return shipments and production orders directly from the barcode app. The system also provides audio and visual signals for correct/incorrect scanning.
Inventory ageing report:
A new report helps you identify "dead stock", so you can optimise your capital binding.
Production and Repair (Shop Floor)
Shop Floor App:
A brand new app dedicated to the employees on the shop floor. It makes it easy to track production time, consumed components, and complete orders on a tablet-friendly screen.
Repair module:
Now fully integrated with the inventory, so you can easily reserve parts for a repair or "reuse" parts from defective products.
Sales and e-Commerce
PDF Quote Builder:
You can now upload beautiful PDF pages (e.g. product catalogs or references) and insert them directly into your offers to customers.
Product catalog in orders:
When you create a sales order, you can open a visual "store" internally to quickly select the right products.
Amazon synchronisation:
Enhanced integration that now also synchronises stock status for "Fulfilled by Merchant" (FBM).
HR and Communication (Discuss)
WhatsApp integration:
Send messages directly from Odoo to customers' WhatsApp (e.g. order confirmations or reminders).
Voice and GIF messages:
The Discuss module now resembles modern chat apps more with the option for voice messages and reactions.
Homeworking:
Employees can now register their location day by day, so colleagues can see who is in the office and who is working from home.
Spreadsheet
Sharing with externals:
You can now share your Odoo spreadsheets with people outside the system (e.g. external auditors), who can view and download the data.
New graphs and features:
Adding over 50 new features and the ability to insert images directly into your sheets.
Studio and Automation
Approval rules:
You can now easily set up complex approval flows (e.g. "purchases over 10,000 DKK must be approved by the finance manager") directly in Studio.
Webhooks:
Odoo can now send and receive data from other systems even more easily via webhooks.
